The Health Council of South Florida (HCSF) established an Annual Scholarship Award in 2009 to address the healthcare professional shortage in our community. This year, we have turned our focus again on awarding a student who has demonstrated interest in practicing primary care medicine in the areas of M.D., D.O., A.R.N.P., and P.A., as defined by the American Academy of Family Practitioners (AAFM).
