Kenya Snowden

Title/Position: Assistant Professor of Clinical


Kenya Snowden currently teaches role transition and adult health as a Lecturer at the University of Miami school of nursing and health Studies. Snowden is also currently a member of the Emergency Nurses Association as she has had substantial experience in emergency care ranging from the University of Miami Hospital, Jackson South Community Hospital, South Miami Hospital and many locations. She has begun her academic experience acquiring her bachelors degree in nursing at Florida International University and has continued with a Masters degree in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Adult Nurse Practitioner at the University of Miami School of Nursing and health studies. Snowden has previously worked as teacher assistant and clinical instructor, teaching the assessment of all major body systems and patient interview techniques.
