An assistant professor of clinical at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. In 2009, Dr. Mckay received the Faculty of the Year Award at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. She teaches assessment and medical surgical nursing courses, critical care, and the RN-BSN Program. Dr. Mckay is an advanced registered family nurse practitioner and specializes in adult critical care. She earned a DNP and BSN in nursing from the University of Miami. She also holds a MSN in nursing from Barry University.
