August 15, 2011 — Alumni, Students, Faculty and Staff at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies are gearing up for the 2011 Alumni Weekend and Homecoming Reunion Celebrations, November 4-6, 2011. The reels of progress have been spinning since 1948, capturing the indelible imprint each student has made at the School of Nursing and Health Studies.
The celebration begins November 4th with the traditional Homecoming Parade that stretches around the campus. The Signature Homecoming event is the spectacular 63rd Annual Alumni Breakfast and Morning Spirits Celebrating Class Reunions. The event begins as the sun rises over the historic and picturesque Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. This event is the true highlight of Homecoming weekend as alumni, students, faculty and friends gather to reminisce, network, and commemorate professional accomplishments. Come and celebrate the rich School of Nursing and Health Studies history you helped to create!
Sunday afternoon, the weekend celebration winds down with a tour of the state-of-the-art M. Christine Schwartz Center for Nursing Education following the University of Miami’s 35th Golden Ibis Society Celebration Brunch honoring classes of 1926-1960.
