August 22, 2014 — In a pioneering move, the University of Miami School of Nursing & Health Studies will open the nation’s first education-based Simulation Hospital. This revolutionary five-story, 39,000-square-foot facility will enable students and practitioners to be active rather than observational participants in patient care. It will be a community and global resource for educators and health care professionals to assess and effectively address every possible safety breakdown in the hospital setting. Funds raised through Momentum2 will help ease the nursing shortage and educate generations.
When it comes to health care education, Simulation, saves lives.
