Welcome to the website for the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing Human Resources Development and Patient Safety.  I’m very pleased to share the news of our many exciting activities with you.

The designation as a WHO Collaborating Centre is a great honor.  It also serves as recognition of the continuing excellence of the valuable work being done here at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies.  Through our designation, we embrace the responsibility of contributing to the WHO goal of “Health for All.”

I encourage you to learn about our vibrant exchange programs involving both students and faculty as well as the research that puts our Centre at the forefront of nursing scholarship in the areas of Nursing Human Resources Development and Patient Safety.
