El Centro’s Research Core houses and supports research studies and the Pilot Studies Program, facilitates scholarly excellence and productivity, and promotes the development of new research initiatives. The overarching theme of El Centro’s research is development of culturally-tailored interventions. As such, all studies supported by El Centro focus on interventions developed or adapted specifically for minority groups. In addition, all studies aim to contribute to knowledge regarding the impact of culture-related factors on health and intervention outcome.
