Helene Fuld Health Trust Scholarship The Helene Fuld Trust Scholarship provides financial aid to students enrolled in the Accelerated Second Degree Baccalaureate Program at the UM School of Nursing & Health Studies. Scholarships are awarded to full-time nursing students beginning in January 2014 and May 2014 and are based on academic achievement and financial need. Eligible students must complete and submit this application by OCTOBER 1ST, 2013 for JANUARY 2014 and MARCH 1ST, 2014 for MAY 2014.
Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine Nursing Scholars Program Through its Nursing Scholarship Program, the Miller School provides full tuition plus a stipend for books for students in the Accelerated BSN program. Students selected to receive scholarships commit to full-time employment at the UHealth-Miller School of Medicine Hospital System for a consecutive thirty-six month period following their graduation.
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholarship: Accelerated BSN The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholarship is a one-time award for full-time Nursing majors, beginning in JANUARY 2014 in the Accelerated BSN program. The scholarship award is $10,000 per recipient; ten award recipients will be selected. Students must have completed a 2013-2014 FAFSA, demonstrate financial need, not be funded by NCBH, demonstrate scholastic achievement, submit a one-page written essay explaining why you are interested in nursing and need for financial support, provide a professional/academic letter of reference and must be admitted to the school. Preference will be given to underrepresented minority students (e.g Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino,American Indian or Alaska Native, and any Asian or Pacific Islander group other than Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Asian Indian, or Thai). Eligible students must complete and submit this application by OCTOBER 1st, 2013 for JANUARY 2014 and March 1st, 2014 for MAY 2014.
