The School of Nursing and Health Studies (SONHS) programs prepare nurses to excel in their profession. Classes are taught by the school’s outstanding faculty. Lecture classes are held primarily on the Coral Gables Campus in the school’s state-of-the-art M. Christine Schwartz Center for Nursing and Health Studies. The SONHS is part of the UHealth family which includes the Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami Hospital, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and Sylvester Cancer Center. In addition to clinical experiences at these facilities, MSN students are also precepted in Jackson Memorial Health Care System, and in hospitals and facilities throughout South Florida.
