This is the inaugural class of the BSN-DNP. Statements are based on information from previous graduating classes. 

All of our graduates have been successful in obtaining employment.  Most obtain employment commitments well before graduation or shortly thereafter.  While some students choose to remain in South Florida, many of our graduates seek employment opportunities out of state.

University of Miami Nurse Anesthesia Program graduates pass rate on the national certifying exam is 90% for first time takers, and 100% overall pass rate inclusive of second time test takers.

Our program attrition rate averages 16%.  Attrition may be due to academic failure, clinical failure, or decision to withdraw for personal reasons.  Some students discover that a career in anesthesia is not the best professional fit for them and choose another advanced practice specialty.  We want our students to be successful and offer support through personal attention and remediation.
