The Herbert Wellness Center offers a summer sports camp where children can experience playtime in a way that encourages a healthy lifestyle and habits. Mini Canes Recreational Sports Camp is an 8-week summer camp that is open to children ages six through twelve, and offers a wide variety of sports and other activities for a fun-filled summer.  The summer is divided into 2-week sessions where campers can swim, play sports, and take part in a variety of other indoor games and activities.  Each week of camp features a sport of the week in addition to theme days and special events. Campers are grouped together by grade into the following groups:

Mini Canes Recreational Sports Camp has been named one of the top summer camps in Miami-Dade County by South Florida Parenting Magazine six times, and is run by energetic, well-qualified University of Miami professionals, Miami-Dade County teachers, and college students.
