What is Intramurals?
Intramural sports are sporting events held on campus between students, staff, and faculty with Wellness Center membership.

What sports are offered?
There are a variety of sports offered throughout the year including the following major sports: football (fall and spring), basketball (5 on 5 and 3 on 3), soccer (outdoor and indoor), softball, and volleyball (including sand volleyball). Major sports field the longest and most competitive seasons

When are they held?
Leagues are organized by night and time: Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday. Sunday leagues play double-headers every week (for major sports). Time slots for weeknights are 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30. Sunday leagues begin at 11:00am and run on the hour until 8pm. For each of the team sports, each team will play 4-6 games per season.  Once the season is over, a single elimination tournament will take place. Special events are usually played on Fridays from 3-10pm.

What kinds of leagues are available?
There are 4 leagues available per sport: Men’s, Women’s, Greek (fraternity/sorority), and Co-Rec. New students may participate in all leagues, except for Greek, in their first semester. Players may also participate in both a Men’s/Women’s league along with a Co-Rec league in the same season.

How do I register a team?
Registration for Intramural sports is at the Wellness Center Office on weekdays from 7:30am to 8:00pm and held on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one team member is required to register the team and subsequent members can be added through the season (not including playoffs)

I don’t have friends/I don’t like anyone on my floor/I want to play but can’t find a team. Can I still play?
Sure! Individuals who would like to play in our major team sports but cannot field a team may sign up as a free agent so that we can try and place them on a team. Also, with their permission, we will inform the captains in the captains meeting so that the individual interested will get maximum exposure.

I’m not good at sports but still like them. How can I be involved?
Intramural sports are student-supervised and officiated. Students can become (PAID) Intramural officials for every major sport and some special events and still play for their respective team!
