The purpose of Running Club is to provide fun, structured and safe runs and workouts for runners of all ability levels, putting emphasis on training for the Miami Full or Half Marathon and other local races. The objectives of Running Club shall be to incorporate flexible running schedules (including the Marathon Training Guides found under Wellness Center, Fitness Programs online), consistent meeting locations and times for group runs, turn-by-turn road directions of pre-measured routes and safe running trails near campus, refreshments such as Gatorade and water during and after runs, motivation and injury preventive techniques.
