The purpose of the Brazilian Jujitsu club is to give UM students the opportunity to enrich their lives via club camaraderie. Improve physical and mental health, reduce stress, and become more active in the university community. Provide students with the opportunity to learn valuable self-defense techniques that help one get through real world situations. Allow UM students to immerse themselves in a safe sport and thus enjoy athletic competition and culture. Encourage students to grow as a person, by motivating them to use discipline to achieve goals.
