The Patti and Allan Herbert Wellness Center is a premier fitness, recreation, and wellness facility that opened in January 1996. Designed to be one of the finest centers in the nation for recreational sports, fitness, and wellness education programs, the Herbert Wellness Center affirms the University of Miami’s commitment to a well-rounded educational environment. Membership to the Herbert Wellness Center is open to University students, faculty, staff, alumni, retirees, Board of Trustees, Citizens Board members, and their spouses and dependents. Although membership to the Herbert Wellness Center is not open to the general public, there are a variety of programs and services that are available to everyone. Additionally, any Herbert Wellness Center member may purchase daily guest passes to grant non-members access to the facility. | More Information

The UHealth Fitness & Wellness Center is located at the University of Miami Miller School of Medcine adjacent to the Clinical Research Building’s 9th floor. It is a 60,000 square foot health facility that opened to the public in October 2006. The facility includes a 15,000 square foot fitness floor with over 100 pieces of state-of-the-art Life Fitness cardio and strength equipment, four group fitness instructional classrooms including a dedicated studio cycling room, and Pasha’s Restaurant which serves fresh Mediterranean cuisine daily.
