The staff at the Counseling Center wants to support your personal, academic and career goals. We do this through a variety of services. We also want you to know how to obtain our help during any difficult periods that you may have while you are a student at the University.

During the Fall and Spring Semesters the Counseling Center is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.. We are located at the Center for Student Services, 5600 George Merrick Dr. Building 21-R. During evenings and weekends psychologists are available for students in crisis who are referred by the University of Miami Police Department (305-284-6666) and the Department of Residence Halls (305-284-4282). How to make an appointment?
For a first time appointment or the first appointment of a new school year, call at 8:30 a.m. to schedule for the NEXT WORK WEEK. SAME DAY appointments will be given if they are available, 305-284-5511. Please arrive on time for your visit and also bring your completed Personal History Form required for your appointment.
