New Student Orientation marks a new beginning and serves as the foundation of the UM experience for undergraduates. It is our hope to provide you with the information necessary for a successful transition into your life at UM. Below are some important dates for academic year 2012-2013, and additional information is available through the tabs on the right.

Once the enrollment deposit has been paid, new students will be prompted to register for new student orientation through myUM. Registration will open April 2, 2012 and close on June 29, 2012. Upon registration, new students and their parents will start to receive email updates throughout the summer.

Dates and preliminary schedule of events for the New Student and Parent Orientation program will be available beginning in March 2012.

ORIENTATION FELLOW APPLICATIONS 2012

Current UM students are invited to apply to serve as an Orientation Fellow for the New Student and Parent Orientation 2012 program. Applications are available beginning on Monday, January 30, 2012 and must be submitted on-line by Monday, February 13, 2011 at 12pm. Applicants will be interviewed and selected by March 9, 2012.
