The Student Center Complex embraces the unique climate of South Florida and the lush, tropical University of Miami Coral Gables Campus with two student-centered indoor facilities, the Student Activities Center and the Norman A. Whitten University Center, as well as outdoor facilities including the Lakeside Patio Stage and Pool.
Both the Student Activities Center (SAC) and the Whitten University Center (UC) house student organizations, student life departments, as well as provide flexible meeting and event spaces. Both Centers are located along the shores of Lake Osceola.
The newly renovated Whitten University Center is the site of smaller meeting rooms.
Opened fall 2013, the Student Activities Center is equipped with a vast array of multimedia capabilities and stylish environments. The Student Activities Center's versatility offers space for 10 to 1,000 people.
The Student Center Complex truly is the center of the U, providing office and lounge space for undergraduate, graduate, and law students as well as providing great meeting and activities spaces for faculty, staff, students, alumni, and the community.
