The Butler Center hosts a number of programs and events throughout the year to promote the values of service and leadership among University of Miami students. Additionally, many events shed light not only on how to volunteer in the community but also why one should engage in the community. Events such as Social Justice Week, Tunnel of Oppression and more serve to educate the UM community on pressing social issues facing the world today.
