Conference Overview
'Canes LEAD is a one-day leadership conference for UM students hosted by the Butler Center for Service and Leadership and the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs.

‘Canes LEAD participants will be equipped with strategies for success, lessons on leadership, practical skills and an appreciation of diversity in a global society. Participants will have the opportunity to attend workshops, breakout sessions that increases awareness of real-world leadership concepts and emphasizes the development of one's leadership potential.

Through these sessions, current and emerging UM leaders will cultivate leadership skills that can benefit them in all aspects of life. This invigorating summit will provide an invaluable platform from which community leaders, professors, and professionals will disseminate ideas and expertise that will enable UM students to develop new skills and grow as a leader.
