Add Your Organization to the Database

Are you a local non-profit or social activism agency looking for volunteers? Then you are in the right place! The Butler Center serves as a resource for local agencies to find volunteers from UM. There are a number of ways to reach out to the UM community for volunteers:

  • Volunteer Request Form: If you would like to request UM students to volunteer at your event, please fill out the request form by clicking here.
  • Volunteer Database: The Butler Center houses a database of about 600 community partners that we work with to place volunteers. The database provides students information about opportunities available with different community partners and how to get involved with them.
  • Agency Orientation and Expo: Each semester, the Butler Center hosts an orientation for community partners to show them how to best reach out to UM students. The orientation is followed by an agency expo in which community partners have the chance to display volunteer opportunities to students. Date and time of the Spring 2010 Agency Orientation and Expo will be announced soon.
