¡Hola señoras y señores! My name is Adon Martin, and this is my third year at the University of Miami. I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, but now I am currently living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It’s a big change, very different, but sometimes change is a good thing. I’m currently majoring in Ecosystems Science and Policy, with a double major in Geography, also working on receiving a certificate of teaching in Biology. My faith, music, and laughter are the key components in my life that keep me stable and allow me to apply myself without fear of failure. Since I’m from so far away, I spent my first year exploring the campus and the surrounding area of Coral Gables and Miami so I can be a resource to those who need it. I love road trips, food, and all things that pertain to animal life, especially the ocean. This year is my second as an RA so I am looking forward to everything that comes with that, both the good and bad, because any story you can tell that has happened to you is an experience. Welcome to The U! |

My free time is usually spent enjoying the company of friends as well as trying to have new experiences. I am very excited to have the opportunity to study in Miami and for my second year as an RA and I look forward to meeting you. |

Hey Mahoney! My name is Quais (pronounced like "ice" with a "k" sound before it) Hassan and I am very excited to be a 2nd year RA on the 2nd Floor! I was born in Denver, Colorado, but I have lived locally in South Florida for over 14 years. I am a junior, currently studying Biology and Chemistry, and I hope to pursue further education in both research and medicine (MD/Ph.D.) My main involvements outside of being a Resident assistant are being a member of AASA, mentoring freshmen as a PRISM teaching fellow, and researching as an undergraduate research assistant in the Biology department. Besides my scholastic pursuits, I enjoy playing sports (I just recently got into longboarding), videogames, watching movies, and just generally hanging out. I look forward to getting to know all of the residents of Mahoney and making this year excellent for everyone. |

Hey guys, my name's Alex Achorn and I'm one of the Resident Assistants for Mahoney 3. I'm a Junior from Lexington, KY double majoring in Sports Administration and Marketing with a Theatre minor. In addition to being an RA, I'm also the Category 5 Basketball Chair, CAC Sneak Premieres Chair, AGLO Programming Chair, IFC Scholarship Chair, Phi Delta Theta Philanthropy Chair, and current Intramural Tennis Champion. I have a feeling my first year as an RA is going to be entertaining to say the least, and just remember, It's Great...To Be...A MIAMI HURRICANE!!!

"Hello everyone! My name is Joyson Kodiyan and I have been an RA since last Spring. I am a biology major from Tampa, Florida on the long road to becoming a doctor. Aside from my medical aspirations, music has been a large part of my life, both listening to it and making it. Weather it is jazz, pop, hip hop, or classical I will probably love it! I play the violin and am an aspiring music producer, so if you want to jam, listen to music, or just have a good time, my door is always open. Or better yet, if you want to record some music, hit me up so we can make a number 1 hit!" |
