Document Processing Times For International Students


  • ISSS will accept only complete applications for the benefits below.
  • You should pick up your documents within the time specified below. You will not be contacted to pick up your documents.

5 Business Days:
  • I-20 or DS-2019, new document
  • I-20 or DS-2019, certification signature on original
  • Letter of certification
- attend 2nd institution
- invite family members to U.S.
- obtain Social Security Number (only for students who have on campus employment or off-campus work authorization.)
- attend summer courses at another U.S. institution
  • Transfer Eligibility Form
  • Home Government or Other Organizations Forms


7 Business Days:
  • Academic Training (J-1)
  • Change to Student Status
  • Curricular Practical Training (F-1)
  • Optional Practical Training (F-1)
  • Employment Authorization Based on Severe Economic Hardship
  • Program extension
