Commencement is a special time for our graduates and guests. The University of Miami is committed to making all Commencement ceremonies and events accessible to those who need special accommodations. All Commencement ceremonies are held in the BankUnited Center on the Coral Gables campus. School and College receptions are held at various locations throughout campus following the ceremony.

PARKING
Please refer to the color coded parking map for the location of your assigned parking area. Shuttle service will run to and from the Pavia Garage and the BankUnited Center. There will also be shuttle service to the University Center and the Bookstore on Stanford Drive. There will be no shuttle service at the Ponce de Leon Garage. Click here for Parking Map.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOS
At the commencement ceremonies, professional photographers from GradImages, will photograph all graduates as they walk across the stage. A complimentary copy will be mailed to graduates, along with instructions to order additional prints.

Personal photographs may be taken only before and after the ceremony. No one is permitted in the aisles during the ceremony. All graduates will have the opportunity to take photos in front of a banner with the University of Miami seal, located outside the BankUnited Center.

WEBCAST
The ceremonies will be webcast live. Visit http://new.livestream.com/accounts/2263400 on the day of the ceremony to watch the event.

PRINTED PROGRAMS
Commencement programs will be available at the entrance to the ceremony for guests and in the seating areas reserved for graduating students and participating faculty. The program, which will be individualized for each ceremony, lists the name, degree, and proper accolades for each graduate. It also contains biographical information on honorary degree recipients and speakers as well as a detailed sequence of events for each ceremony.

RECEPTIONS
Schools and colleges will host receptions for the graduates and their families and guests. Reception times and locations will vary by school or college. Click HERE for Reception Information.

SEATING
The doors will open beginning one hour prior to the published start time of the ceremony. Seating in the ceremony is open, general seating. We recommend that large groups of guests wishing to sit together arrive early, although seats together are not guaranteed. To accommodate all of our guests, the saving of seats will not be allowed. Handicapped-accessible areas are reserved for guests with special needs. There is access to the seating areas via an elevator in our Special Needs/VIP Lobby Entrance (located right across from the Special Needs parking lot).
Note: The academic procession will enter the commencement site fifteen minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. We strongly recommend that all guests are seated by this time.
