I am on the planning committee for Relay for Life for the past years. I am also in COPE through the counseling center, Best Buddies, UM Tennis Club,
Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and I am in Alpha Lambda Delta as well as the Golden Key national honor societies. I also volunteer at a hospital and I am a chemistry workshop leader. Most importantly an Ambassador for ‘Canes Care for ‘Canes.

Why did I join Canes Care?

I joined ‘Canes Care because after a semester of being involved in many things around campus I recognized that the mission that the ‘Canes Care initiative is aiming to achieve is meaningful and has endless possibilities to expand and impact campus. Creating a caring community where students support and take care of one another is important to me. Often times individuals do not admit they need help so if we are available with resources to reach out to them and ease the process it can make a world of a difference. The foundation for this group of ambassadors has been laid but having the opportunity to build, change, and contribute to this initiative is inspiring. Each event or opportunity we have is making one persons life a little bit easier and happier at the University of Miami which could be vital to their success.
