The University of Miami offers two national women's self-defense programs: Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) and Self-Defense Awareness & Familiarization Exchange (S.A.F.E.). Programs are coordinated and instructed by the University of Miami Police Department on the Coral Gables Campus and the University of Miami Security Department on the Medical Campus.
