Message from the Director

The University of Miami Facilities Management Department (FMD) is responsible for the stewardship of all Coral Gables Campus buildings and grounds. Our team oversees all routine and preventative maintenance work for our 225 acre campus, 127 buildings and 4.3 million square feet.

Our Mission is to provide excellence in operations and maintenance for all facilities, campus infrastructure, energy systems and environmental services in a customer-focused, efficient and cost effective manner.

For non-emergencies we strongly encourage the University community to use our online Service Request as the entry point for all work order requests.

Facilities Customer Service (FCS) is the primary point of contact for services and maintenance requests on the Coral Gables campus.
