Welcome to the University of Miami.

A visitor is considered someone who is not currently faculty, staff, student, Board of Trustee member, vendor, or contractor.  As a valued guest, we’d like to ensure that your visit with us is a pleasant one.  Depending on your needs, there are several options for visitor parking.

Short-Term Parking

• Hourly visitors may park at any coin meter on campus and pay the appropriate fee. Please note that parking meters located along Stanford Drive, Dickinson Drive, San Amaro Drive (Hurricane Drive), Pavia Street, and Levante Avenue are under the jurisdiction of the City of Coral Gables.  See Parking Map for exact locations.

• Pay by-Space parking may also be purchased from any Luke multi-space parking meter located near the Ashe Building, School of Law, Miller Drive circle, Richter Library, and Ungar Building.  See Parking Map for exact locations.

• Short-term visitor permits are available in one-day and five-day increments, and are valid in the Yellow, Green, Gray, Purple and Red lots and may be purchased at the Parking & Transportation department.  Additionally, visitors may purchase short-term visitor passes from one of the 9 Luke machines located across campus.

• Day passes are also available for purchase Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM at the information desk in the Whitten University Center lounge.

Long-Term Parking

Annual visitor permits are available for our long-term visitors.  For applications and information on this permit type, please visit the Parking and Transportation Services Department located at 5665 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Coral Gables, Florida.  We are located on the first floor of the Flipse Building adjacent to the Ponce de Leon Garage.
