English Language Proficiency
Language Proficiency: International students who do not hold an undergraduate U.S degree must submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores.

Approved Evaluation Services
Evaluation services can be lengthy, so we recommend getting started on the process no later than 8 weeks prior to the deadline of your anticipated start date.

UOnline has three intake sessions per year. It is important to note that admission decisions are based upon the overall quality of your application, not individual components. We cannot review your application until all of the required forms have been received. However, our advisors are happy to walk through your application and help you every step of the way.
Optional On-Campus Orientation
All of our programs also provide a short on-campus orientation and multiple on-campus events that provide you with an opportunity to visit Miami and network with faculty, staff and peers. UOnline embraces students from all over the world and encourages students from different cultures to come together and share their vision for the future as global citizens.
All students are also required to complete and pass an online Student Readiness Orientation (SRO) prior to registration.” Students will have four (4) weeks to complete the online orientation after accepting their offer of admission. For more information on our SRO please visit here.
The University of Miami has 160,000+ alumni globally. The UM Alumni Association supports the growing number of international alumni and has several international alumni groups. Tuition and Fees
If admitted, you will submit a $300 non-refundable Enrollment Deposit (paid separately and deducted from 1st tuition bill) and will have the option of setting up a Monthly Payment Plan (MPP) once your bill is available after registration. Tuition and fees are billed per term and payment in full is due no later than Day 1 of class. Please review the UOnline Graduate Student Handbook for more information on acceptable payment methods.
