MOBILE MAMMOGRAPHY AVAILABLE
ON THREE CAMPUSES
The
mobile mammography van will be available at the Gables,
Medical and Rosenstiel School campuses for female faculty
and staff. The examination is free of charge to faculty
and staff enrolled in the University health care plan.
You must present your United ID card at the time of
service.
The
American Cancer Society recommends mammography once
a year for women over the age of 40. Mobile mammography
is designed as a screening examination, and should not
be used if you have had abnormal results in the past,
as the radiologist is unable to provide a useful diagnosis
unless there is immediate access to your prior examinations.
Appointments can be made from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. each
day. Call Susan at 954-858-4420 to schedule an
appointment.
