Information Technology Training offers customized made to order training called "ITT On-the-Go". ITT On-the-Go takes technology training out of our computer lab and into your environment. With ITT On-the-Go, Information Technology trainers deliver on-site training services including customized topics and a fully equipped mobile training lab.
ITT On-the-Go courses are available for the following applications:
Adobe Creative Suite
Departments may choose to use prefabricated manuals or to customize manuals by selecting from a list of available topics.
The costs for instructor time and course materials are the responsibility of the training recipient. For more information, please call ITT On-the-Go at 305-284-2100.
The following Information Technology Training On-the-Go policies and procedures will be strictly enforced:
Customers must submit an ITT On-the-Go request form or call ITT On-the-Go at 305-284-2100.**
Training requests must be made at least a month prior to the desired training date.
An ITT Administrator will contact the customer to approve and confirm content, schedule, location, attendees, and costs.
An Interdepartmental Requisition Form (IDR) for training costs must be submitted prior to the first day of scheduled training.
Upon arrival, the class trainer will present the customer with an invoice requiring the recipient's signature. In addition, the trainer will present the customer with a copy of the invoice signed by the trainer indicating services have been rendered and payment has been received.
* Trainer fee not applicable to every class. Your representative will inform you if your class requires a trainer fee.
** Submission of a request form does not guarantee a training arrangement. Requested class dates and times are subject to trainer and equipment availability.
ITT does not provide parking permits for class attendees. Gables Campus employees are advised to take the shuttle to our training classes. If you are traveling from the Medical or RSMAS campuses, transit by the Metrorail is the recommended method to come to our classes. Board the University shuttle at the bench across the street from the Metrorail station.
If you are not placed in the course of your choice, you will automatically be placed on a waiting list for that class. Please do not attend the class unless you have been confirmed. Enrollment for ITT classes will be year round. All class requests must be received one week before the class date. All other requests received will be placed onto a waiting list. The confirmation email, generated by the online registration system, does not guarantee registration enrollment to a class.
You are not officially enrolled in a course until you receive confirmation from our office. Please do not attend the class unless you have been confirmed. To double check, call the User Support Services (USS) helpdesk at (305) 284-2944 or email email@example.com.
At the beginning of each semester, a newsletter with the new schedule is distributed to the university community. The ITT website is also a good place to find our training schedule; however, that listing is only available for the current semester. In addition, the current training schedule is listed on our online registration page.
All ITT class registrations can be processed online. If you are experiencing difficulties in registering online, call the USS helpdesk at (305) 284-2944 to request telephone registration. For good measure, call the USS helpdesk after submitting an online registration to ensure they have received it.
