There are three (3) main components to the IT Support Center:

The IT Support Center (formerly known as the Help Desk) provides the user community with help for information technology problems at 305-284-6565. The analysts are responsible for providing support for telecommunications for the entire university. In addition, they support the Coral Gables campus for Central Server computer issues. The IT Support Center is also responsible for issuing orders for telecommunications services and setting up voice and video conference calls.

The Communication Systems Consultants is a group available to assist the entire user community with telecommunications needs by providing on-site consultations for optimal design solutions. They also advise and coordinate new installations, moves and redesigns. These services are available at no charge. Call 305-284-6565 to arrange a meeting.

Operators are the third component of the group, responsible for answering the University’s main telephone number, 305-284-2211 and directing callers to appropriate departments and individuals.
