The University of Miami has implemented a spam blocker to help fight against spam email. Email messages sent will get passed through Spamblock which uses the Proofpoint server to determine how authentic a message is. Suspected email messages will be held in a Quarantine for a user to manage. Legitimate messages will get delivered to a user's mailbox.
- UMail Account Holders: Available automatically.
- UM Alias Holders: Available to all users with an @miami.edu or an @umiami.edu email alias.
No costs are charged for this service.
