The financial aid software automates all functions of the student aid operation from application tracking through disbursement and federal reporting. Gathers aid application data from ISIRs, institution applications and other functional systems within an institution -- such as Admissions and Registration. Accepts electronic applications in CSS, Federal and PHEAA formats. Performs Federal Methodology computations for need analysis. Provides online and batch Pell verification. Supports Academic Progress compliance.

Access is requested through the IDMS Access Form, which requires supervisor approval and is based on job requirements. Depending on the selection, the form will redirect to Ariba. Forms not using Ariba can be scanned and emailed directly to the data custodian indicated on the form.

You will need a 3270 emulator to access the mainframe. The University offers free Terminal Emulation Software. The Terminal Emulator download site provides configuration files that will connect your Emulator software to the Enterprise Server menu screen where you'll be able to enter IDMS and arrive at the login screen.
