DMAS is a web-based system, to bring to the user financial operating data, in an easy to use form. Working on any platform that supports newer versions of Netscape or Internet Explorer, it provides a mixture of FRS, Sponsored, and Purchasing information in an easy to read, easy to navigate hyperlinked form, to help in the area of departmental administration.
DMAS displays accounting information for the current and prior 9 fiscal years. The information is shown in summary and in detail. Detail transactions include imaged copies of purchase orders, invoices, checks paid by the bank, etc. The information can be downloaded to excel spreadsheets. A typical DMAS user is an account responsible person, principal investigator, department administrator and/or staff responsible for account reconciliation processes or roll-up reporting.
