The Budget Preparation System provides a facility for budget preparation allowing the user to view financial information in a variety of ways useful for making budgeting decisions. Budgeting is done at the employee and sub-object level. The information is "rolled-up" immediately allowing various high-level summaries of the budget information on-line. Users may submit requests to print reports through the on-line system that can be directed to any IDMS printer. When Budget Preparation is completed for a fiscal year, the information is extracted for both DHRS and FRS. From this point the budget is maintained by the Central Budget office until the next cycle begins.
Loads data directly into the Human resources and General Ledger, saving time and effort.

Access is requested through the
IDMS Access Form, which requires supervisor approval and is based on job requirements. Depending on the selection, the form will redirect to Ariba. Forms not using Ariba can be scanned and emailed directly to the data custodian indicated on the form.
