Beginning on Wednesday, November 27th, your experience when logging in to certain UM administrative applications (which require CaneID and Password) will change. The University is introducing the UM Single Sign-On (UMSSO) page to replace the CaneID Authentication Service (CAS) sign-on page. The primary benefits of this change include an improved user experience and enhanced security measures. The new UMSSO page will make it easier and more secure for you to access University applications from any device, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, using your CaneID and Password. Please note that this is just a visual page change. UMIT currently supports both CAS and Shibboleth technologies for Single Sign-on.
When logging in to a compatible UMSSO application, the below sign-on page will be displayed:
