PURPOSE
To assure cost effective resource management for the Telecommunications Department.
POLICY
A 25% charge will be added to the total labor cost of a job when it must be completed within 72 hours. Depending upon resource availability, there may be times when this service is not available.
PROCEDURE
When a service request is not planned in advance, it imposes additional costs to the Telecommunications Department. The 25% charge will be imposed to pass along such charges to the requesting department. The Telecommunications Department will notify the requestor of the additional charge for 72-hour service prior to scheduling the work.
