UM students, faculty, clinicians and staff can use their CaneIDs to access the lynda.com video library of premium quality courses on “how-to-use” the latest software and social media and “how-to-build” their own creative, design and business skills. lynda.com provides engaging, first-to-market training for Illustrator, Photoshop, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and hundreds of other technology topics taught by industry experts.

A new comprehensive website for the ERP initiative launches today. The website contains information about the project, timelines, FAQs, training schedules, a glossary of terms, and much more. The ERP initiative is one of the most far-reaching projects in UM’s history and will not only upgrade the information technology that drives student, financial, and human resources systems, but it will also transform the way UM conducts business and provides services to its students, faculty, and staff.

CaneNet Connection is a free computer support center for students. We provide a multitude of services including internet configuration, virus and spyware removal, system restorations, software installations and upgrades on laptops, desktops, and PDAs. -

Information Technology Training
ITT
Information Technology Training (ITT) provides a wide variety of computer training classes for UM faculty, staff and administrative employees designed to enhance personal productivity using the most popular Microsoft and Adobe applications.
Instructor led classes are offered in academic computer labs on the Coral Gables Campus. ITT also provides customized training classes for 5 or more students that can be offered at any UM location via mobile training units or through webinars.
