Training and education are essential to maintaining an environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Workplace Equity and Performance has established online, web-based training programs designed to inform, educate and guide members of the University community on specific issues that affect equal opportunity, affirmative action and diversity. The subject matter of these programs includes sexual harassment, diversity, Americans with Disabilities Act, Civil Rights, and Age Discrimination. In addition to online, web-based training, Workplace Equity and Performance also conducts workshops and seminars on various discrimination issues and related subjects, providing educational training programs to assist members of the University of Miami community in understanding discrimination, harassment and retaliation, and how to address behaviors that violate University policies.
