Applying for a Czech National Visa
Students who do not hold a European Union country-issued passport are required to begin applying for a Czech national visa as soon as they are accepted into the program. Students should submit their visa application, valid passport and all supporting documentation to the Czech authorities no later than November 1st. The visa process can take up to 90 days, and it can be further delayed if the application is found to be incomplete. Students will be provided detailed instructions on where to apply for the visa and how to fill out the application along with other related issues. Charles University will provide assistance via phone and/or e-mail during the entire visa process, but please note that students are ultimately responsible for submitting their visa application in a timely fashion.
