Tuition
Students participating in UM-on-Location programs pay regular
UM tuition.
Program Fee
The program fee for Spring 2013 is $2,400.
The program fee includes:
• Airport shuttle service to the dorm on the official arrival day
• University housing in dormitory including breakfast
• On-site residential assistance
• Four weekend excursions to Poland, Germany, Austria, and Turkey (includes: transportation, accommodation, some entrance fees and guided tours)
• Two excursions in the Czech Republic
• Guided tours of Prague
• 24-hour emergency assistance
• Cultural coordinator services
• Student ID card
• Farewell party
Personal Expenses
Student expenses will vary according to individual spending habits and travel. Past participants have reported spending between $500 to $700 per month on additional expenses. Expenses may also increase or decrease depending on the exchange rate at the time of study, and can affect the cost of studying abroad. For information on exchange rates, visit
