Terri A. Scandura
Dean of the Graduate School, University of Miami

Terri A. Scandura became dean of the University of Miami Graduate School in June 2007. She joined the university in 1990 and previously served as professor of management in the School of Business Administration and director of the school’s Ph.D. Program in Business Administration. She also served on the faculty of the University of Kentucky College of Business and Economics. With interests in management, industrial/organizational psychology, and research methods, her teaching and research have focused on organizational behavior, leadership, mentoring, team building, and coaching techniques. As dean, Scandura is the chief advocate for graduate education at the University and oversees more than 150 graduate programs in the UM’s 12 schools and colleges. Scandura received a Ph.D. in organizational behavior from the School of Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati. She has been a visiting scholar in the Japan, the United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong, and China. She is an associate editor of the Journal of Management, Group & Organization Management and the Journal of International Business Studies.
