Health Care Reform & UM

President Obama signed a landmark health care reform bill on Tuesday, March 23, 2010. We have been closely following the health care reform legislation, and we know you have questions about the bill’s impact on your benefits. Some things will take effect soon, but many of the major provisions will not take effect for several years.  We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.  The University of Miami remains dedicated to offering a comprehensive benefits package to meet the health needs of faculty, staff and their families.  Click here to view the latest information as of April 21, 2010.  Visit this site for future updates.
