INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
FRESHMEN

TRANSFERS
1. I am an International Transfer Student with fewer than 30 completed college credits at the application deadline
2. I am an International Transfer Student with more than 30 complete college credits at the application deadline (including students seeking another Bachelor’s degree)

International Freshman Applicants
All Freshman applicants studying OUTSIDE of the United States
1. Application (including essay) - Choose ONE method:
>Apply online through the University of Miami
>Submit a Common Application
>Submit a Universal Application
>Download, print and submit a paper application (Part 1 and Part 2)
2. Counselor Evaluation Form completed by your high school guidance counselor. Additional letters of recommendation (not required, but you may send them)
3. Official Transcripts: Official transcripts* from secondary school. Students from educational systems with external exams should submit certified external exam results, i.e., GCE results. Also, submit official transcripts from dual enrollment college/other schools attended (if applicable)
*include English translations if transcripts are not in English
4. Official Test Scores: The SAT report is not required and should not be submitted for admission consideration from applicants who are attending schools OUTSIDE the United States. All students whose native language is not English are required to submit official results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The TOEFL code for the University of Miami is 5815.

5. Official Test Scores: All students whose native language is not English are required to submit official results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The TOEFL code for the University of Miami is 5815.
