WirelessCanes is the University of Miami's Coral Gables wireless network, which is available in most areas of the Coral Gables campus. This service provides the Coral Gables campus community with mobile access to the Internet and UM computing resources. Any registered laptop or PDA (with a web browser) with an 802.11b, 802.11b/g, 802.11 b/g/n, 802.11a/b/g, or 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN card can make a WirelessCanes connection. You can surf the Internet, check e-mail, and do much more from anywhere within our wireless cloud.
Students who wish to use WirelessCanes should click here. All University of Miami employees automatically have WirelessCanes access as soon as they begin employment.
