To activate |

- Press RLS to end your call.

- Press HANDSFREE/MUTE again to return to 2-way conversation.

CALL FORWARD AND BUSY STATUS

The Call Forward and Busy Status is used when party A forwards calls to Party B for screening.
Party B can:
- Monitor, activate or deactivate Call Forward for party A
- Override Call Forward of party A, in order to place a call to party A
- Determine whether party A is busy on a call
|
CALL FORWARDING - INTERNAL
(to send all internal calls to another number) |
To activate |
- Without lifting handset, dial the Internal Call Forward FFC
- LCD flashes
- Enter telephone number
- Dial the Internal Call Forward FFC again
- LCD stays on (to reactivate internal forwarding to the previous number, just dial the code twice)

CALL PARK
(to park a call and retrieve it from another phone) |
To park a call with the call park button |

Telephones cannot be assigned a Call Page key. To use Call Page, pick a free DN, and dial the special page code to be connected to the paging system. |
CALL WAITING
(to pick up a call when you are already on another call) |

- Press Hold
- To pick up the incoming call, press call wait or press the DN key with the flashing arrow next to it.

| GROUP HUNT |
Description |
If a call encounters a busy DN and a Group Hunting Pilot DN is specified, then the call is routed to the next idle DN in a pre-arranged group.

| HOT LINE |
To use |
The system administrator can program a Hot Line telephone number that is dialed automatically when Hot Line is pressed. If your main line is a Hot Line, the number will be dialed automatically when you lift the handset.

| MALICIOUS CALL TRACE |

- Press TRACE.
- Keep the caller on the line to allow time to trace the call.

ON HOLD ON LOUDSPEAKER |
To use |
On Hold On Loudspeaker allows a user to monitor one conversation on their loudspeaker (which is on hold) while being in another conversation using the handset. The user may hold the handset call and enter the call on hold on loudspeaker at any time.
- Place the call on hold.
- Press LOUDSPEAKER.
- Press the DN key for that call. It will be put over the loudspeaker.
- You can then use the handset to place calls normally without affecting the call on loudspeaker.

PRIVACY RELEASE |

Privacy release allows someone who shares your extension to join your call.
- Press Priv Rls
- The other person may now join your call by pressing the DN key beside the flashing arrow

SPEED CALL ON PRIVATE LINES |

Speed call on private lines allows you to access a private line trunk and make a speed call. See speed call for more information on setting up speed codes.
- Press PRIVATE LINE
- Lift the handset.
- Press SPEED CALL
- Enter the Speed Call code of the number you want to dial.

SYSTEM SPEED CALL

TIMED REMINDER RECALL |
To use |
Timed Reminder Recall rings your telephone after a period of time to remind you of a transferred call that has not yet been answered.
- When transferring a call, if you do not wait for the receiving party to answer, the Timed Reminder Recall timer is activated. If the call is answered, the timer stops.
- If the call is not answered, your telephone rings.
- Pick up the handset or press the DN key to talk to the original caller.
- Press TRANSFER to retry the transfer.
- If the person to whom you are transferring the call answers while you are on the line, a conference call is set up between the three of you. Hang up to complete the transfer.

VOICE CALL
(to place a call through someone else's loudspeaker) |
To use |
- Lift handset or press DN key
- Press VOICE CALL
- Dial the extension you are calling
- Make your announcement
- To end your Voice Call, just hang up.
When you receive a voice call, your phone rings once, and you hear the caller's voice through the speaker. You can pick up the phone to speak to the caller. |
