Voice Services

 

The Department of Telecommunications provides a wide array of voice communication services to fulfill the needs of faculty, staff and departments at the University of Miami. 

 

These services include:

  • Provisioning telephone service to all UM campuses and remote sites.
  • Providing digital phones, voicemail, call center functionality, and audioconferencing to faculty and staff.
  • Managing installations, moves, additions and changes of phone lines and related equipment.
  • Directing telecommunications wiring projects.
  • Assisting with the planning and implementation of departmental telephony solutions.
  • Troubleshooting telephone and voice-related issues.
  • Helping with billing questions and providing reports.
