Submitting Trouble Tickets (Only for Division of Enrollments Management)

  • All requests for service no matter how simple, complex, or urgent require the submission of a trouble-ticket via TrackIT. If for some reason you cannot login to TrackIT or you have not registered to submit trouble-tickets via TrackIT, please call 305-284-8605 and request TrackIT assistance.

    Software and Hardware Support Policies
    Dept. of Technical Operations will support the following:

  • Windows Operating Systems or ONLY operating systems that Technical Operations install or have approved for support purposes. Software support is limited to those programs that are required to accomplish work related tasks. The authority to support other applications is at the discretion of Technical Operations to decide, and provide a summary explanation of its decision to support or not to support.
  • Hardware support is limited to mobile devices (cell phones, blackberries, pocket pc, etc), laptops, and Desktop Computers that the University of Miami has purchased or owns. The authority to support other devices is at the discretion of Technical Operations to decide, and provide a summary explanation of its decision to support or not to support.
