The International Education and Exchange Study Abroad Stipend
Students who participate in a University of Miami study abroad program may apply for a stipend to help defray costs associated with studying abroad.
The Lawrence R. Hyer/Edward Pascoe Study Abroad Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for students who will study abroad for a semester or a year on a UM program. The donor requests that preference be given to gay or lesbian self-identified students.
Department of Religious Studies URome Scholarship
Students who participate in the University of Miami’s Spring URome program and meet all of the established criteria listed on the application form are eligible to compete for a scholarship to help defray costs associated with studying abroad.

Awards for UM summer study abroad programs.
Scholarship for Study at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia
Scholarships up to AUD$5000 for a semester of study at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia during the 2013 Spring or Fall semester.
Scholarship for Study at The University of Sydney in Australia
Scholarships up to $1500 for a semester of study at The University of Sydney in 2013 or 2014.
Baden-Wurttemberg Scholarship for Study at the University of Mannheim in Germany

Scholarship for Study at the Technical University of Munich

Airfare Scholarship for Study at Aalborg University in Denmark

MASA Scholarship
MASA offers scholarships to eligible students studying in the University of Miami’s Semester in Israel: UGalilee. Depending on age and eligibility students may receive scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 to be applied to the cost of the program. For more details, contact MASA.
Benjamin A. Gilman National Scholarship Program for Study Abroad
Semester and summer awards up to $5,000 to students who currently receive Federal Pell Grants.
Rotary Foundation International Ambassadorial Scholarship
National Security Education Program Boren Scholarships
Awards for participants studying abroad outside of Western Europe and Australia.
Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grant Competition
Awards up to $1,000 for students with 3.75 or higher GPA.
The Fund for Education Abroad
Scholarships of $5,000 per semester or $10,00 for the year are available to students studying abroad. There is no limit to specific programs, destinations, or fields of study. Priority is given to underrepresented students – including but not limited to minorities and to students going to non-traditional destinations. Please note that students must apply one year in advance of the semester or year in which they plan to study abroad. The online application opened on August 15, and the deadline to submit the scholarship application is November 14, 2011 for students studying abroad in the 2012–2013 academic year. Bridging Scholarships for Study in Japan
The Association of Teachers of Japanese Bridging Project offers scholarships to American undergraduate students participating in study-abroad programs in Japan.
Study Abroad Turkey Scholarship for Minority Students
The Turkish Coalition of America (TCA) in cooperation with Diversity Abroad are awarding grants in the amount of $2,000, $1,000 or $500 for undergraduate and graduate students who have been accepted to a study abroad program in Turkey or Cyprus for an academic year, semester or summer. Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate African-American, Hispanic/Latino or Native-American students who have already applied and been accepted to participate in a study abroad program at a university in Turkey or Cyprus through an American educational institution or study abroad provider.
Killam Study Abroad Scholarship for Study in Canada
Awards for $10,000 for a year or $5,000 for a semester study abroad in Canada. Award also includes travel stipend and seminars in Ottawa and Washington, DC.
Malmberg Scholarship and Fellowship Program
Award of up to $10,000 for study abroad in Sweden.
DAAD - German Academic Exchange Service
